Comments: My friend Lisa Fuersten posted a beautiful photograph of herself in her photo livejournal. I was quite taken with it, and asked her permission to do a photo manipulation of her. As it ended up, I scrapped the manip, and ended up just doing a painting of her as a beautiful Ice Elf maiden awaiting sleep. It doesn't so much look like her, rather it is how she looks to me. Please bear in mind, that I have never actually seen snow, so I'm really just guessing how it would behave. The painting is called 'Winter' and is a tribute to Lisa's love of snow. She stays awake all night just to get the best lighting for her photographs of it. Dear me, I'm surrounded on all sides by beautiful women :) |
