Salzburg has two claims to fame: it was the home of Mozart, and is also the town where the story of the 'Sound of Music' took place, and was filmed. We found much more to it than that, but were amused to find that the majority of tourists we were within earshot of only talked about the movie.

The highlight of the trip for us was our trip in the cablecar to the top of Untersberg, playing in the fountains at Schloss Hellbrunn, and trying some local delicasies including 'Salzburger Knockerl' - an addictively delicious sweet souffle. We didn't have enough time to do everything we wanted to, so we'll definitely be back..
